My meat looks a darker colourUpdated 4 months ago

We know our meat can sometimes look a bit darker than products you may find in a supermarket, but don't worry - this is perfectly normal and is a result of the process we use to package our meats.

You see, we vacuum pack some of our beef products in a controlled food safe environment which can sometimes result in a darker coloured product, this is a natural reaction to the packaging process and happens due to the lack of oxygen.

Once you open the packet and allow the product to rest in open air for a short while, the redness will come back.
